Dolce and Gabbana: Mosaic Queen - Fall 2013

Personally I think that women in the past have done so much to win the equality, but not for that the modern woman has to give up her femininity  There is nothing sadder in the world that a woman without femininity.

In fact, now the fight is just to help the woman regain her femininity: learn how to wear makeup, to dress, to take care of herself, to walk on heels, these are the things that a woman should learn regardless of his profession or lifestyle choice. But fortunately, the duo Dolce Gabbana has thought of everything that is needed to awaken our femininity.

The Sicilian duo Dolce and Gabbana offers for A / W 2013-14 a hyper-feminine collection of Byzantine inspiration and a touch of tailoring, for a woman queen, wearing a crown of gold and encrusted stones, swaying majestic in the sumptuous clothes with patterns inspired by the mosaics of the cathedral of Monreale in Sicily.

All embroidered suits with pieces of sequins, crystals and semi-precious stones, shoes with plateau cage that imprisons colored flowers, the 'Agata' bag, dedicated to the patron saint of Catania, all decorated with mosaics.

Even the corset in gold filigree with the mini mosaic was inspired by Agatha, also in the form of the print on tunic dresses, sheath dresses in brocade, on the maxi T-shirt tinkling of golden tiles, in blouses combined with flared skirts, balloon shorts and jackets with saddled shoulder and tight waist. Golden crowns and cross earrings mix the sacred and the profane.

But there is also a triumph of tailoring, with the new three-piece suit with short skirt, short jacket and T-shirt all in the same fabric, herringbone or tweed, as well as the coat or dress always in pendant, for a new idea of ​​elegance by day. As hyper-feminine makeup, eyeliner and lipstick cherry, in the same tone of lace dresses with embroidery and stones.

Personalmente penso che, le donne in passato hanno fatto tanto per conquistare la parità, ma non per questo la donna moderna deve rinunciare alla sua femminilità. Non esiste niente di più triste al mondo che una donna senza femminilità.

Il duo siciliano Dolce e Gabbana propone per l'A/I 2013-14 una collezione iper-femminile d'ispirazione bizantina ed un tocco di sartorialità, per una donna regina, con in testa tanto di corona dorata e di pietre incrostate, che ondeggia maestosa nei sontuosi abiti con decori ispirati ai mosaici del duomo di Monreale in Sicilia.

Abiti tutti ricamati a tessere di paillettes, cristalli e pietre dure, le scarpe con il plateau a gabbia che imprigiona fiori colorati, invogliano le borse 'Agata', dedicate alla patrona di Catania, tutte decorate a mosaico. 

Anche il bustino in filigrana d'oro portato con la mini a mosaico, è ispirato a Sant'Agata, motivo che ritorna sotto forma di stampa negli abiti tunica, nei tubini in broccato, nelle maxi T-shirt tintinnanti di tesserine dorate, nelle bluse abbinate alle gonne svasate, negli shorts a palloncino e nelle giacchine con spalla insellata che segnano il punto vita. Corone dorate e orecchini a croce mescolano sacro e profano.

Ma c'è anche un trionfo di sartorialità, con il nuovo tailleur tre pezzi con gonna corta, giacca breve e T-shirt tutti nello stesso tessuto, spinato o tweed, così come il cappotto o l'abito sempre in pendant, per una nuova idea di eleganza da giorno. Iper-femminile come il trucco, eyeliner e rossetto ciliegia, nello stesso tono degli abiti di pizzo con ricami e pietre.
