The king of the Top Models and founder of Elite Model Management and the School of models John Casablancas Modeling and Career Centers, died at age 70 in Rio de Janeiro.
John Casablancas helped launch star of the catwalks as Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Andie MacDowell, Kim Alexis, Paulina Porizkova, Iman, Heidi Klum and Gisele Bündchen and many others.
Having founded his first agency in Paris in 1972, Elite Model Management, John Casablancas created a system of education that still prepares aspiring models from around the world, working as a springboard into the world of fashion.
Before Elite Model Management "models were only models" but then "we have begun to create the myth behind the appearance," said John Casablancas in a 2005 interview for the Huffington Post.

This is very true, if we think of all the new faces discovered thanks to the school of John Casablancas and the agency Elite Model Management, the red carpets and runways around the world, the entire fashion system would not have been the same without his contribution.
Thanks John Casablancas for having changed the fate of so many people, including my own. For me this post is a must.
