William and Kate - The Royal Wedding

The creator of Kate's dress, designer Sarah Burton, of Alexander McQueen, the dress has a lace appliqué bodice and skirt, and veil. The bride wore her hair down, with a tiara. The designer has described the bride as looking "absolutely stunning". She says it was the "experience of a lifetime" to create the gown.

Kate's mother, Mrs Middleton's outfit, is by Catherine Walker, a favourite designer of the late Diana, Princess of Wales. We understand she went through a number of possible outfits before settling on this one. Kate's sister, Pippa Middleton is wearing a long cream dress with a cowl neck. The Queen was wearing a bright yellow hat and coat. The Duke of Edinburgh is in red military attire. The Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla was wearing a champagne silk dress and a duck egg blue and champagne coat. The dress and coat are both designed by Anna Valentine - the designer the duchess chose for her own wedding in 2005. David Beckham was wearing Ralph Lauren and Victoria was wearing her own creation. Mrs Cameron is wearing a short-sleeved, jade green, knee-length dress. She's one of few women to shun a hat - opting for a jewelled hair clip instead and carried a bright orange wrap clutch.
